COUPLES THERAPY
Couples therapy can be sought when there are crises in the relationship. You may be thinking about getting divorced or feeling that something is missing in the relationship. You may quarrel a lot and have difficulty communicating. Couple therapy can help get out of habitual non-functioning patterns, and can strengthen and renew the relationship. You can also apply for couples therapy between relationships or at the beginning of a new relationship. Reception in Helsinki or via video call.
FAMILY THERAPY
In family therapy, you work with all or parts of the family to solve difficulties. You may want to improve the mood in the family or wish to be able to communicate better. Family therapy has proven to be very helpful in different crises and the breaking stages and for example in case of family member's illness, grief, anxiety, depression or abuse. Various emotional or behavioral problems in children and adolescents can also benefit greatly from family therapy. You can come to family therapy alone or together.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy can be helpful at different stages of life, if you feel down, suffer from anxiety or have other challenges you want to talk about. I often use a form of therapy called Internal Family Systems Therapy. The conversations are self strengthening and help you move towards the changes you desires.

I am a trained couples and family therapist. The training is approved by Valvira and KELA. I also have training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS Level 2), emotion-focused couple therapy (EFT) and body-oriented psychotherapy. I speak fluent Swedish, Finnish and English.
